Aylee’s Boarding Pass Template

Although not-so-new, I like the idea of boarding pass invitations/ save-the-date’s for a destination wedding.

This is the version from the amazing Knottie Aylee (whom I’ve been so lucky to have met online). She wrote a step-by-step guide for DIY boarding passes.

Click here to download Aylee’s template and stay tuned for a few more of her goodies!

Alternate option since you don’t have Word is Open Office and it will allow you to access word documents and you can download onto your computer for free. Hope this help.

28 Cort { 05.07.12 at 12:33 pm }

I have a Mac, can this be downloaded another way or in another format?

29 Christina { 07.14.12 at 7:50 pm }

Aylee please help!! These are an awesome idea but when I download them they’re only opening up in a completely messed up format and I’m not sure how to take it from there…they appear to download automatically in landscape format, so when I adjust the orientation to Landscape, it’s still extremely skewed and unusable. I’m so sorry I can usually figure this stuff out but I’m stumped! Please email christina.hawkins8@gmail.com Thank you!

Hey there guys. Just finished making an Adobe Illustrator version of this invite including the sleeve. I hope it saves someone else some time out there. Thanks Aillee for the idea

44 Dara { 09.01.13 at 8:13 am }

By the way a few quick tips I learned on the way.
1/ use a butter knife and ruler to lightly score the folding edges of the sleeve. Speeds up the folding process
2/ In the invite fold over the right tab end and corner punch to get the indent between the stub and the boarding pass. I used a cheap $12 rotary trimmers to perforate along the dotted lines. Came with a wavy and straight cutting disk as well
3/ Use a decorative punch to pierce right through the envelope (hearts with green invite inside the envelope as background
