Favor Idea: Planted Banana Bread

I am so going to try this! I would never have thought of baking bread in a terra cotta pot, but this is just too cute! They’d make for a fun wedding favor or giveaways at showers, don’t you think?  See all the pics and how-to’s at The Coterie Blog.

Use wax paper and fasten with some pretty ribbon as shown above. Or try Martha’s idea below for packaging (sans the panettone paper) — wrap it with clear cellophane and a personalized gift tag tied with baker’s twine.
