Handwriting Fonts

I noticed it at Julia Rothman‘s wedding { via Flickr }

And saw another one from Martha.

I’m talking about handwritten invitation types. Imagine your own handwriting preserved in yummy letterpress for your wedding invites. Now why didn’t I think of that 😛

Letterpress or no letterpress, you can give a fun, casual and friendly feel to your DIY paper goods by having your handwriting turned into a font. Fontifier is one of the sites that can make (for a nominal fee) your very own font. And yup, there’s sites offering it for free too. Fonts for Peas is one and Allie Hoopes (although she’s currently on font break) is another. Both have tons more of handwriting fonts you can download for free — like the Pea XOXO from Karen below from Fonts for Peas. Enjoy!
