Exciting! I’d use them for our wedding logo/monogram that we can incorporate in all our paper goods :)

So cute… I’d put them in a little double fold-out frame for the sweetheart table and then put it on our bedside table afterward!

I’d make them the logos for the invitations, but I’d also check with the bakery and see if I couldn’t get them reproduced on two oval fondant medallions on the top of the cake, for a very Victorian look! :)

PERFECT, we wanted to use silhouettes on our invitations which we’re making ourselves and then for place cards/table numbers (which we’re also making!).. they would be beautiful to print onto the corners of place mats as well..

Count me in!! I’ll use them for our invitations and thank you cards. And for the cake table setup similar to that candy buffet done by Amy Atlas..

My future mother in law just visited us for 3 days and brought a huge double frame for us to use for wedding photos after our May 2009 wedding. I think I’d put these pretty silhouettes in the frame and have it sitting on our escort card table at the wedding and then hang it up at home. I’d love to win : )

Our wedding is still a way’s away (Nov. 2010), so we haven’t settled on an exact theme yet, but I can definitely see silhouettes of us looking beautiful being used as table #s!

8 Bridechka { 01.12.09 at 1:58 pm }

I think I would put them on our invites :)

9 Chelsey { 01.12.09 at 3:51 pm }

I think they would make such cute letterpressed or gocco’d coasters!

10 Denise { 01.12.09 at 4:57 pm }

We’re aiming for a classy autumn wedding, with lots of whimsy and gilded and Tiffany accessories.

I’d love if we could break away from the traditional black/white silhouette, and instead ask Candis if we could have the color scheme of Tiffany blue/white or black/gold silhouettes. Modern *and* classic!

My fiance is a screen printer by trade, and wouldn’t it be fab to silk screen these onto handkerchiefs and hankies?
A practical, and lovely wedding favor!

11 Tyffanie { 01.12.09 at 6:56 pm }

I would use the silhouette for a Quaker marriage certificate as well as include it on our thank you notes!

12 Kiely { 01.12.09 at 8:11 pm }

I’d love to incorporate a pair of silhouettes into two things for our April wedding. First on signs that hang from our reception chairs labeled with “Bride” and “Groom” and then have them printed on thank you notes with our *new* last name.

I absolutely ADORE the look of silhouettes. They are the epitome of the classic style that I am going for with my wedding. I would love to incorporate the silhouettes in many different aspects in the wedding such as cocktail napkins, table numbers, invitations, signage, etc. They would also be beautiful hanging next to our wedding photos in our new home after the wedding!

14 Amber P { 01.13.09 at 7:49 am }

I’d use them on our invites and frame them for our cake table display. Pick me!!

15 Clair { 01.13.09 at 8:04 am }

I’d beg Candis to do my kids instead of me and hubby and then hang a framed collage of the kiddos.

16 Cheryl { 01.13.09 at 1:50 pm }

It’s selfish but I want them to put up for everyday! They are so amazing and deserve to be displayed all year round for all our friends and family to see. Such a neat way to document where we are at in our life right now! Ohhh I want um’!

17 Amanda { 01.13.09 at 2:57 pm }

OMGOSH I love these! It would be awesome to have these at out wedding, but I’d keep them up all the time as well!

18 Susan { 01.13.09 at 4:52 pm }

We’re still looking for something to add a personal touch and some unity to details at our ceremony reception, and these would be perfect. Originally thought monogram, but we have an “unfortunate” letter combo (S&M!). The silhouettes would be a gorgeous accent to our programs, menus, table cards, etc. Thanks for a great contest with an great “runner up” discount for all of us!

19 Sarah M. { 01.13.09 at 5:57 pm }

I would hang our silhouettes on the wall next to our daughter’s after displaying them at our September wedding. I had one made of her last year when she was 5 with the intentions of doing ours too but ran out of money for extras before we got ours done. I really, really would love to win. Thanks for the opportunity.

20 Melanie { 01.13.09 at 6:52 pm }

Let’s start a silhouette fan club..we can all post the ones we own!

21 Courtney { 01.14.09 at 6:45 am }

I think I would have them put into a classic black frame and sit them on the table next to our well-wishes book! Adorable and perfect for our black/white theme.

22 Elaine { 01.14.09 at 6:46 am }

Our reception area has double doors when you first enter so I think I’d hang one on each door.

23 Fallon { 01.14.09 at 11:03 am }

I’d frame and hang them from the front of ourselves at our sweethearts table, plus utilize them for the cover of our photo guest book.

24 Aubrey { 01.14.09 at 11:48 am }

I have been wanting a pair to mark different things throughout the wedding weekend. Since we will be getting ready on the same property I wanted to mark the doors of the bridal suit and the groomsmen suite with them. I was going to wrap the bridesmaid and the groomsmen gifts with them. At our wedding, I wanted to mark the backs of our chairs with them. I was planning on marking the male and female restroom doors with them. And last but mot important use…..i am doing a bunch of paper garlands, one of which is going to be paper silhouettes….and i wanted to to have ours be the biggest, center most ones that hang/drape over our ceremony site….oooo! pick me please! out theme id black and white and this would just be the most perfect detail! plus how much more special would our silhouette theme be if it were actually our faces!

25 Kristay { 01.14.09 at 12:43 pm }

Those silhouettes are beautiful! I would use them on our invites and the backs of our RSVP reply postcards. I would also hang them at our reception (we’re hanging candids of all our guests and it would be nice to have our own silhouettes featured there too!) We’re doing a vintage-y wedding and I think the silhouettes would fit perfectly into our theme!

26 brendalynn { 01.14.09 at 11:07 pm }

I think they’d make great bookends to our wedding–first & last impressions (which somehow seems to fit in my mind with a silhouette).I think it’d be great to print a large size of each silhouette, matte & frame it, and hang them over the entryway table to the church where we’ll have the guestbook waiting. Of course, we can keep & re-use the silhouettes–a classic for any well-cultured hallway! And then for the final use, include them on very simple, striking Thank You cards.

We haven’t done our invitations yet, so if the timing worked out, we could use them there too!
Great giveaway!

27 janil { 01.15.09 at 4:48 pm }

I think it would be a beautiful picture on my houses’s walls and perhaps as a presentation card… they woul be original!!!!!

Thanks for the chance!

28 Tara { 01.15.09 at 5:59 pm }

I love the idea of using silhouettes in my wedding! My style is a blend of old and new (hence, my heirloom diamond in a totally mod setting!). I think I’d like to use the silhouette on my invites, etc., and perhaps a large one for people to sign as a guestbook – great wall hanging in our new house! [insert girl in back of room squirming with her hand high] Pick me! Pick me!

29 Dionne { 01.15.09 at 6:21 pm }

I would use it as a template to dust powdered sugar on the tops of brownies. How precious!

30 Danae { 01.15.09 at 8:38 pm }

It has just recently been on my mind to use these on our bed to make two little accent pillows! LOVE THEM!!

31 Andrea { 01.16.09 at 9:20 am }

I would use them for my niece and give them as gifts to her parents and her grandparents!

32 Ada { 01.16.09 at 10:40 am }

I would definitely put them in some gorgeous, ornate vintage frames to display at the wedding, and then hang them on the wall in our home after! I think they would look great on our vintage-y invites too…come to think of it. Oh please pick me!

33 Shelley { 01.16.09 at 1:36 pm }

I would give these to my neighbor and good friend who LOVES silhouettes. She has a small collection and I know she would adore these!

I know it’s too late but I want to have somebody AT my wedding to do silhouettes! Kinda a “Victorian photo booth”!!
