Motif: Faux Bois

Faux bois or French for “fake wood.”   I’m a fan of the more stylish and modern take on this decorative motif.  Great for a gardeny-woodlandsy-outdoorsy affair.  And yes, I’m blaming The Martha for getting me started — back in the day when the mag featured details from Katie & Ian’s Real Wedding:

I love that wood-like pattern, especially on the candles. I would love to have something like this in my own wedding. So thank you for sharing.
