Ode To Domino

It’s a bit late for me to blog about this as the news had already gone around bloglandia since the announcement. But I’m truly sad about Condé Nast’s decision to stop publication of my ultimate fave mag, so please indulge me for a moment.  Oh Domino, how do I love thee?  Let me count the ways…

  • I’ve been your subscriber from Day One and always look forward to getting my copy in the mail every. single. time.
  • Your manifesto is incredibly spot on to my design philosophy. You’ve spoken to those of us who aspire for high-end style sans the bajillion-dollar-budget.
  • Thanks to you, I wasn’t afraid to mix styles and my home certainly makes me happy!  And yup,  it’s ok to NOT be finished.

  • Why I even scoured the end of the interwebs to find one of your signature fonts, the Courtney Dorkling!   Fellow fans, it’s free for download here.

Rest in peace, Domino.  You will be dearly missed.

I am soooo heartbroken about Domino! It was my all time favorite magazine. And, I just got a subscription for my friend who is renovating her house too. Such a shame!
