One of my favorite items from the wedding is our photo guestbook filled with our engagement pictures, favorite love quotes and hand written well-wishes from our guests. As I am working at my kitchen table today there are two very happy little black-capped chickadees outside my window who have been singing all morning. They are TWO little things that are making me happy today!
My happy moment today: my 2 1/2 yr old daughter gave her 4 mth old brother a kiss when he was crying and told him that he was her BEST friend! So sweet.
Knowing that I’m one day closer to my husband coming home from his deployment. Its a long shot to happy, but thats my silver lining on this dreary day.

What is making me happy? Looking outside to see the beautiful weather!
There is major construction going on outside my window today and I’ve been listening to a jackhammer all day. The only thing that is getting me through the day is the knowledge that I get to curl up and watch Grey’s Anatomy tonight.
I love that today is my Friday and I get to have 3 day weekends week after week!

This morning my husband asked me if we had money in our checking account that he could spend (I’m the one who handles all the bills, etc. so whenever he wants to buy something random he always asks me first, esp. now since we’re so tight on money), I told him that we had only around $100 to spare and asked him what he wanted- groceries, new shirt, etc. And he said, “i want to buy a bike so that I could ride around the park with ‘A’ (our son).” That just made my day and made me appreciate my husband and the relationship he has with our son! And of course I gave him the money!
I was really happy when I looked at the calendar and realized that in 30 days I will be in St. Thomas

Something that is making me happy right now: my fiance and I just rented a cute little house in a flourishing little neighborhood of hippies and do-it-yourselfer’s. I can’t wait to garden and share my life with him and we’re getting married in two months!

I am very happy today because I received a letter from a client who was so happy that I took the time to listen to him and find a solution. Couple of days ago a client walked in to my office. I helped him and he left without worries. With this recession going on, lots of our clients have allowed their policies lapse. Most of the time they are too embarrassed to inform us that they can’t make a payment.
Sitting here listening to the thunderstorm outside makes me feel all warm and cozy inside!
I’m happy because we booked our reception venue today and I’m madly in love with it! Ok, technically that’s more than a small thing, but its making me so happy!
I found my favorite brand of tea on super sale at whole foods, and that made my day!
We used these after our wedding and loved the result.

I’m happy because I am listening to a new album (or new to me, at least), and I’m also happy because it is nearly bedtime (my favorite time of day).
My little bit of happiness today was chatting on the phone with a friend who is a mother of two little girls (like me) and sharing some of our stresses and hilarious moments with each other.
One little thing that makes me happy everyday is coming home to my boston terrier that greets me at the door.

What makes me smile today: as always, when the weather is gloomy outside, i like to wrap myself in my thick blankets and hug my plush lavender Care Bear my fiance gave me to hug when I wasn’t feeling well. It does the trick
I found a sweet little silver cocktail dress for my wedding reception in Aug. And it was on sale! Plus I also picked up some beautiful envelopes for the wedding invites. What a grand day!
The little thing that is making me happy today is knowing that in one week, I will be on a weekend getaway with my sweetie.

It hasn’t been too springy yet here in Michigan, but today it is beautiful and I had the first picnic of the spring with my fiance!
Today I’m happy because I got three phone calls from my wedding guests telling me they received our invitation and how beautiful it is!! Those invitations were such a labor or love; I’m thrilled to know that they are being appreciated!!

I’m happy because I got a care package in the mail from my parents with my favorite childhood candy–Nerds!
I am Happy because when doing a special something(picking up 2 Maple trees ) for my parents.(we had a death in the family and they had to go out of town) Our van caught on fire and no body was hurt . We had the greatest firefighters,highway patrol man come and help us.
It is great to have people who risk their lives for strangers everyday

I cherish my a.m. hour walk by the bay when the cool ocean breeze whooshes in and out of my ears, paints my cheeks, and leaves a salty film in my hair and lingering on my skin. The marine life and the complexity of the slick yet harsh churning waves never cease to draw me in…plus, right now there is a crazy bunch of funky birds hanging around; there are ones with hot pink wings and those with crazy looking beaks. Combined with the colorful blooms of bougainvillea which are blowing my mind, what fabulous illustrations in today’s story!

I am happy to see hundreds of people using their bodies to their fullest capability in the St. Anthony’s Triatholon. I have disabled students in my college writing classes, and it has really made me appreciate the exceptional feats our healthy bodies can accomplish.
I got to spend time with my husband this morning, and on such a beautiful day to boot!
I’m so happy to be done with my MA! Such a great accomplishment, and today I finally got to spend a lazy Sunday with my wonderful fiance and our two dogs!

Of course the little things in life bring me the biggest joys. My fiance and I just finished talking to his mom – my future mother in law, for 2 hours. We talked about our upcoming wedding, and we always enjoy finding ways to bring her in. She’s excited about one of the ideas we have and she’s going to help us put it all together!
I’m happy because the weather in Mississippi is beautiful and the sun makes me happy. I’m even happier though because my fiance and I just booked our honeymoon!

The incredible generosity of the women in my fiance’s family who just gave a wonderful shower.
Everyday I work full time, go to law school, and plan a wedding (which is a 1.5 months). I am happy because today is my Constitutional Law final exam, which means that I can focus on my work, the wedding, and finishing the family cookbook (through My Publisher) as a gift to our families. The best thing is knowing it will make our moms cry – with joy.
Having my 1st wedding dress fitting today is certainly making me happy!!
I’m happy because today we are buying a shop vac to clean out our soggy basment. It’s been raining non-stop all weekend in Iowa and it will be a few more days till we dry out. That shop vac is going to earn it’s keep this week

This would be a great prize for us! We’re planning on making photo albums of our baby/kid pictures from the slideshow and our engagement photos. We’re going to give them to our parents and grandparents at the rehearsal dinner.

Spring cleaning is making me so happy! I finally put away the ironing board (which had become covered in stuff), which gave me plenty of room to lounge on the floor and seal my wedding invitations. Also, I put all my sewing stuff away, discovered a chair under a pile of crocheted scarves and vacuumed under the bed. Life is so good today!
