DIY Tissue Paper Carnations

I’m not usually a fan of paper flowers nor of carnations, but these are just too clever to resist. Coloring the edges of the tissue paper with markers was such a “realistic” touch, don’t you think? Whether for a fun bouquet or just something to jazz up your gift wrapping, head over to Folding Trees for the fab tutorial. Happy crafting!

Fonts: Cross Stitch Type
I’m loving this cross stitch invite suite from Hello Lucky! My most fave is the monogram. It’s just too dang cute!

You can certainly find plenty of cross stitch pay fonts like the ones above, but as you know…

and I know you do too! So I did a little web-sleuthing and found some freebie goodness for y’all. No need to pay for a full set, these all-uppercase sets will do especially when you only intend to use them for monograms or stationery headings. Yeah, you best be thanking me for the savings, haha (I keeed!). Download them here:
