I’m a graphic designer and I ADORE the look and feel of letterpress– but it’s so expensive and impractical to own one. I would use this baby for christmas cards, stationery, packaging and tags for gifts, and (of course!) wedding invitations, place cards, and save-the-dates for my friend and sister, who are both getting married soon! yay!

Entry #1: My entire wedding theme is “Vintage Love Letters & Memories” The insert of my invitations would need this, the reply cards, the save the dates. Additionally, the favors and guest book are going to be part of the fun, and hopefully we could put the letterpress out for people to “sign” the guestbook fabric with it.

I never got to update that I now follow on Facebook, too! Entry #4…come on, let’s go
I just had the worst weekend dealing with save the dates. I have been very excited taking on everything DIY. In college I used tons of design programs and upon graduation, I ended up finding work where that skill has been unutilized. I have been excited since getting engaged to get to use these skills again. Turns out what I planned didnt work out and now I had to resort to ordering them online. UGH. Hopefully my programs, menu cards, seating placement cards etc. go better than the save the dates!!
What projects wouldn’t I want to do with this?!?!?
I would LOOOVVVEEE to make my thank you notes from my recent wedding with this!!

I want to experiment with this so bad! It will be years before I get to try my hand at formal letterpress printing, so this could be a fun start.
I already work a lot with hand printing techniques (silkscreen & block print), so this would be a fun new medium to work in. !
Heading over to Asia for Christmas – it will be so exciting to make Christmas cards for everyone using Letterpress and show them how I did it with the kit!
HI thanks for the fix. I would start with Christmas carda and who knows where it would end!!

I would love the letterpress, I have always wanted a big one but never had the money or space for it, and this solves both those problems! This may just replace my gocco for small runs of handprinted cards. Especially if I can create my own photopolymer plates at some point!
This would sort of make all my letterpress dreams come true.

I would L-O-V-E to win this! I’d start out with Christmas cards, then I’d make my sister-in-law’s baby shower invitations, and then I’d make my own stationery – which I haven’t done since I’ve run out of gocco supplies.
And that’s just the month of December. I’d make birthday presents for all of my January birthdays – 5! The possibilities are endless.

Great giveaway! Thanks! I would love to create personalized stationery for gifts.
“Pick me. Choose me. Love me.”
Please, pretty please.
I would start with using the letterpress kit to create all of our wedding paper goods: invitations, programs, thank you cards, menus and maybe gift tags. Then I would start creating my own sets of notecards for regular use, because I love letterpress and would send it regularly, if only I could afford it.
I would LOVE to be able to print cards using some of the designs from my original fabric designs. What a SUPER cool machine! I sooooo want one.
Oh Wow! I would certainly use this for our wedding invites!
First, I would do my wedding invitations. But I have ALWAYS wanted to start my own stationery line (Etsy.com, here I come), and so this would not only help me with my wedding, it would help me fulfill my dream, too!

I tried this at papersource this weekend! I am in love!
Love the L letterpress idea! If I win it I’ve got visions of business cards, thank you notes, a mobile made from letterpress cutouts… so many things! If I don’t I’m wondering if I could rig my own from a tortilla press. Hmmmm…
I’d make my wedding invitations with this – of course.
I just became engaged, so if I was lucky enough to win this, I would totally use it for our wedding invitations!
If I am lucky enough to win I plan to make my wedding invitations and save the date cards with the letterpress. I’ve always wanted to learn to letterpress but sadly, I live in a city where classes like this are not available. Please pick me!
I’d use it for thank you notes, christmas cards, gift tags, notecards, calendars, birthday cards, menus, placecards…I could go on…
WOW! Such stiff competition.

Cheers!
My daughter is getting married in two years and this would be a perfect gift for her. I’m a calligrapher so anyway I can mix letterpress and calligraphy- I’m in heaven!
I would love to use this for my nephew’s birthday invitations!
I’ve always wanted to experiment with letterpress projects. This would be a great way to start holiday card making.
Would love to start a stationery line and with this handy tool! I’d be excited to come up with some experimental and differently purposed designs for funny cards like: Happy Birthday to your “Fluff-full of Joy” Cat, or Sorry Your Furry Friend is in Hamster Heaven!
For starters, I would make cards, notes, stationery, as well as labels and tags for my homemade gifts and home organization. I’d love to send something that is my own work and personalized–but that looks so lovely and professional as these as opposed to the rather sloppy though well-intended and heartfelt paper goods that I make now.
I would love to use this machine for fabulous custom stationary!
this comment you’re reading? this is the comment of a FIEND for all things paper. if i start going into all the things i’d do with this, it might make me cry with wistful joy, so i’ll spare you…
ooooh, I’m getting married in less than a year and it would be so awesome to make our own stationary!

This little letterpress machine is on my Christmas list now thanks to rave reviews from people who have had the opportunity to try it out. I’m pretty sure I’ll be making lots of announcements and shower invitations if I can get my hands on one.
I am deeply in love with letterpress. I have always wanted to learn to make my own but access to an antique letterpress machine is difficult to find. And expensive!
If I were to win this machine, I would make a card a day about things that are beautiful…
I would love to use this kit to make holiday gift tags and cards. I also host a lot of parties and it would be great to use this to make labels for each dish that I serve! Great giveaway, I love all the free font postings!
I would definitely use this to make my invitations for my wedding. It would save me a great deal, and with no job and my fiance on the virge of no job, we need any help we can get for our budget.
I think this tool is really, really cool. I would use it to make tons and tons of note cards, birthday cards & invitations. Maybe I could quit my job & just make cards and stationery??? Okay maybe that is a little extreme, but you get the picture.
As a graphic designer I would use this as a resouce for design as well as all sorts of invitations and cards. I’ve been dying for a letter press but finances prevent me from getting one.
I am a facebook fan! (Megan Barnett)

I *love* letterpress machines, and even thought about trying to find one of the older machines, but who has that much money and *space* to invest in one?? That’s probably one of the things I love the most about the L Letterpress! It’s like having a letterpress machine in a smaller, more affordable, crafty form!
I would use an L Letterpress on anything and everything! LOVE the crisp debossing!!

I’d love to use it to make special cards for the special people I know. And possibly business cards?
I want a letterpress! I’ve been looking at tabletop ones, and they’re too expensive for me at the moment. I’d love to be able to print things (cards, tags, anything…) at home instead of sending it to a printer.
I would love to use this DIY letterpress to make my own wedding invitations!! I already have a design in mind and this would seal the deal
I took on a teeny tiny minimum wage job at the printshop of my school (I’m an art student) just so I could be around the letterpresses and learn by osmosis. I love the art of letterpress, and to me, anything that brings it to more people to enjoy is great. This would let me have even a bit of that experience right at home, and it would fit into my teeny tiny student budget (giveaways are blessings like that)!
