DIY Place Card Rocks

Lovely idea from The Violet Hours, discovered via Danny Seo. A DIY place card/personalized keepsake for each of her wedding guest, using air dry clay, alphabet stamps and some varnish. How delightful it must have been to receive such a labor of love!

Wow – I heart these and wish I’d seen this before we finished our place cards!
what a great idea!
Very cute! That would work well for a garden wedding.
Thanks for linking to my post! I no doubt scoured your site for ideas when I was making these!
I really love this idea! There’s something so Paloma’s Nest-ish about them, I really, really love them… not to say that the idea of a heavy placecard is really practical, too, in securing that the napkins don’t fly around in case of wind
This is adorable, and I love, love, love the rest of the wedding too! So lush and romantic
These are great! They seem like they’d be a lot of work but the end result is amazing. I’ve seen rocks with names written on them but using clay to make your own rocks with your guests’ names stamped on them is so chic.

What size stamps did you use? I totally love this idea and it will be perfect for my rustic beach wedding!
