DIY Invite Hankies: SDBride
I’ve always been smitten by all the tea towel and handkerchief invitation gorgeousness you see around blog-land. So it comes as no surprise that this fantastic set of DIY hanky invites from Tulle and Feathers (meant “to look like vintage love letters packaged up from anthro“) gets a MAJOR dogear in my book.
Would you believe me if I told you that these were printed on fabric using freezer paper?!
Oh YES. Definitely a labor of love and the end result is nothing short of AWESOME.
Get more of the DIY scoop from SDBride here. And in case you wanna try the freezer paper technique, check out this cool tute from Limelady.

Pine Cone Beauties
They’re simple yet festive, versatile yet inexpensive. Here’s some of my fave DIY pine cone lovelies that can go from a charming woodland affair to an elegant fall or winter celebration.

I came across this gorgeous DIY bridal shower put together by Laura over at Orange Beautiful for her sister recently. From the lovely palette to the DIY he says-she says game card and faux gold leaf centerpieces, there’s plenty of adorable deets to file away for your next celebration. Hop on over and get all The Scoop here.
P.S. Does the he says-she says font look familiar? You can get it here. Yup, 100% free.

Garland Of Letters
…or should I say alphabet banners? Whatever you wanna call ‘em, I think they add such a festive touch to a party or any special occasion.

I love the explosion of colors and patterns from this Rag Quilt Letters by Jessica at Happy Together. Even cooler, she also shared the tutorial and FREE downloadable letter patterns in PDF so you can whip up something like this yourself. Lovely!

Of course, I realize that not everyone can quilt (coughpointstoselfcough). How about tracing the letters onto some scrapbooking paper pretties? Need some inspiration? Lookie here:

And with that, I just wanna say
