DIY FLORAL WORKSHOP. Summer Watkins of Grey Likes Weddings (lovely blog!) is holding a DIY Floral Workshop in Orange County on the 28th of this month.  Nope, you don’t have to be a bride to join!  Click here to know more.

BUDGET SAVVY INDEED! Have a look here and here at Budget Savvy Bride‘s awesome DIY invites. Cost per invite… 86¢!!! Yes way! And if one of the invite fonts seem familiar, that’s because Jessica got it from our feature here, love it!

LUCKY MAG’S GIVEAWAY-A-DAY. Set up your daily calendar alarm through the end of the month so you’ll remember to go here and enter.  Fab daily prizes and the grand prize is a trip for two to Hawaii (did someone say honeymoon?!)

SHOW OFF YOUR DIYs! iDiY is all about sharing and inspirations, so come join us and share your creativity on our Facebook Page or via our Flickr Pool. We’d love to see pics!  Take note that most recent pics from our Flickr Pool now also appear on our Facebook Page. *Snaps all around!*

SHOUTOUTS & LINK LOVES. Big thanks to everyone for all the blog love (Brooklyn Bride, The Girl Indie Blog, Ayleebits, Oh Hello Friend).  If I missed anyone, please leave me a comment below so I can update our blogroll.

Ode To Domino

It’s a bit late for me to blog about this as the news had already gone around bloglandia since the announcement. But I’m truly sad about Condé Nast‘s decision to stop publication of my ultimate fave mag, so please indulge me for a moment.  Oh Domino, how do I love thee?  Let me count the ways…

  • I’ve been your subscriber from Day One and always look forward to getting my copy in the mail every. single. time.
  • Your manifesto is incredibly spot on to my design philosophy. You’ve spoken to those of us who aspire for high-end style sans the bajillion-dollar-budget.
  • Thanks to you, I wasn’t afraid to mix styles and my home certainly makes me happy!  And yup,  it’s ok to NOT be finished.

{Our home featured on the Ofifteenmag }

  • Why I even scoured the end of the interwebs to find one of your signature fonts, the Courtney Dorkling!   Fellow fans, it’s free for download here.

Rest in peace, Domino.  You will be dearly missed.
